    • Hired in 2004, constructed in 2005
    • 14,317 ft2 hotel (3-story) on 2.11 acres in Rocky Mount with public water and sewer, worked to minimize impacts of rock outcrops
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Worked with developer to gain shared access with neighbor at an existing signal light
    • Coordinated retaining wall design, lighting plan and landscaping

    BB&T

    • Hired in 2003, constructed in 2004
    • 8,720 ft² bank on 1.944 acres in Rocky Mount with public water and sewer, 50 parking spaces. worked to minimize impacts to Powder Mill Creek including stream bank stabilization
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Coordinated lighting and landscaping plans

    Franklin Community Bank

    • Hired in 2006, constructed in 2007
    • 4,748 ft² Bank on 1.07 acres in Union Hall with private water and sewer, 18 parking spaces. Assisted with rezoning from A-1 to B-2 to allow for use-by-right. Development of concept plan for public hearings
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Coordinated lighting and landscaping plans

    Bojangles

    • Hired in 2000, constructed in 2000
    • 3,328 ft² bank on 0.911 acres in Rocky Mount with public water and sewer, 39 parking spaces
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Coordinated lighting and landscaping plans

    KFC

    • Hired in 1999
    • 4,203 ft² restaurant on 1.77 acres in Rocky Mount with public water and sewer. 45 parking spaces. Included design of french drain to manage groundwater seepage issues.
    • Assisted Owner with securing additional property from VDOT for development of site
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management utilizing an underground stormwater retention system
    • Development of the site included preserving an existing building on-site for future commercial use

    Franklin Minute Market Plaza (car washes, annex building)

    • Hired in 2004, built in 2004
    • 10,000 ft² commercial building to be constructed adjacent to an existing shopping center on 3.354 acres in Town of Rocky Mount with public water and sewer, 58 parking spaces
    • Detached car wash
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Coordinated lighting and landscaping plans

    Glade Hill Minute Market

    • Hired in 1998
    • 9,000 ft² commercial building with convenience store, Laundromat, and rental space on 8.92 acres in Glade Hill, Virginia. Assisted with rezoning from A-1 to B-2
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Septic design included pumping over 2,100 linear feet from the facility to an off-site mass drainfield with a disposal capacity of 7,200 gallons/day
    • Water system design included pumping over 1,000 linear feet from an off-site well to a 15,000 gallon storage tank and 2,500 gallon pressure tank at the store. Assisted Developer with all necessary permits through the Virginia Department of Health

    YMCA Master Plan

    • Hired in 2001
    • Developed Master Plan for a Community Park at the YMCA on 8.438 acres in Rocky Mount
    • Features included soccer field, camp sites, ropes course, tree house, fitness trail, playground, picnic pavilion and amphitheatre
    • Utilized existing wetlands on site to create an outdoor education center and wetlands lab

    YMCA Youth Center

    • Hired in 2004
    • 27,082 ft² youth center addition to existing YMCA on 8.438 acres in Rocky Mount, Virginia. 28 parking spaces, public water and sewer
    • Developed around wetlands to be used as study area
    • Engineering included site layout, grading plan, Erosion & Sediment Control Plan (E&SC) and Stormwater Management
    • Coordinated lighting and landscaping plans

    Snow Creek Elementary School Athletic Fields

    • Hired in 2003, constructed in 2004
    • Designed plans and specifications for a new soccer field/baseball field for the Elementary School on 3.366 acres
    • Worked included designing around existing drain fields that could not be disturbed
    • Assisted with bid package included pre-bid meetings, bid evaluation, contractor selection and bid award
    • Provided construction inspection assistance
